What Every College Girl Needs in Her Closet

School days, school days…

Even though the school year seems like it just ended, the new one is right around the corner. In a matter of weeks, tons of fashionistas will be heading off to college. In order to look and feel their best next semester, there are a few items that are both functional and fashionable that are a must for every college girl’s closet.

Rain boots, Rain boots, Rain boots! Although these were once thought to be frumpy and out-of-style, rain boots are making a comeback! Not only are they totally necessary for college students (who really wants to walk to class in soggy sneakers?), but there are also tons of cute rain boots out there for all you fabulous twenty-somethings. Check out these from Sperry – they don’t even look like rainboots! For a more wallet-friendly but equally stylish option, try these from Target.

A tote bag. Although this doesn’t seem like a necessity, take it from someone who knows – a tote bag is a huge lifesaver when it comes to college life. Great for carrying books when backpacks just aren’t your style, tote bags have just enough room to toss in a change of clothes to hit the gym after class or a snack when you’re really crunched for time. There’s a tote for every fashionista out there, like this one from Victoria’s Secret.

College apparel, of course. On every college campus, school spirit is always in style. Whether you’re sporting your team’s jersey or a cute hoodie, you’ll always be in on the number one trend at your school.

What’s on your back to school wishlist?
